Lisbon International Airport

The Lisbon International Airport (Aeroporto de Lisboa) is Lisbon's main airport.  It is located 7 km north of the city center.  Lisbon Airport is also called Portela Airport (Aeroporto da Portela).

Lisbon Airport (LIS) is the main hub for TAP Portugal, the country's flag carrier airline.  It is also a main airport for the discount airlines Ryanair and easyJet.

Direct flights are available to the Lisbon Airport from most major European cities.

Lisbon International Airport

Metro service operates from Lisbon Airport (Terminal 1) to downtown Lisbon between 6:30 AM and 1:00 AM.  The "Red Line" trains depart every 6 to 9 minutes and take 16 minutes.

A taxi from the airport to downtown Lisbon costs 10 to 15 euro.

The Gare do Oriente intermodal transportation hub is located just 5 minutes away on the metro.
